Download Nokia N93 Firmware Update
The Nokia Software Update list now includes the Nokia N93. Users will now be able to update their phone’s firmware without the need of going to a Nokia Repair Centre or a local phone flasher. It’s as simple as download and install. I tried it today and even though the process went smooth, I was F#*!(%G scared of ending up with a dead phone.

At the end of the update, the screen just froze. I couldn’t turn the phone off. I had to manually remove the battery and prayed it would turn back on when I replace it. Fortunately, it powered back on. All contacts, messages, events, and software installed in the phone memory were erased, as explained in the installation. Syncing it with the computer quickly restored my calendar and contact book.
It updated the firmware version to version 11.0.0.34, as explained by Symbian Freak. So far, I haven’t noticed any ‘Out of Memory’ messages even after opening multiple applications. I usually expect to see this message in the previous firmware when opening the Camera application with Gallery. To test the new firmware, I opened Papyrus, S60 Web Browser, Gallery, Camera, and Screenshot all at the same time without encountering any memory errors.
The most important improvement that N93 users look for in this update is whether there is an improvement in the camera’s image quality. In my opinion, the image quality stayed the same.
