Nokia N95 Takes Better Pictures Than The Nokia N93

Steve Garfield took pictures with his Nokia N95 under poor lighting conditions and concludes that the N95 takes better pictures than the Nokia N93. Although he had problems with the focus and shutter time, he says it may be because he has a pre-production version. He also writes,

the N95 will make you very popular at parties. The meeting I was at was all about new software solutions in technology. One attendee told me that seeing the N95 was the highlight of his evening.

  1. “One attendee told me that seeing the N95 was the highlight of his evening.”

Much as I love techy phones, that must have been one dull party.

    Also..

Of course it takes better pictures. It’s a 5Mp camera instead of a 3Mp one. Duh.

  2. Just because it has more pixels doesn’t necessarily mean better pictures. It just means it takes bigger pictures.

“One dull party” was exactly what I was thinking and I would thank the person who brings out the N95 to save me from boredom.

  3. Mark Guim is very correct here. the image processing and the lens/optics play a big role in deciding the quality of the picture and not the megapixels. like a 6 MP nikon dslr will take better pictures than a sony compact camera with 8 megapixels.

  4. please put sample pics.

  5. hey i have n95 the camera is good and as he said i have a sony camera 4.1 megapixel the picture looks better and bigger in the size the n95 pic size is between 450kb to 850kb but the sony cam is between 3 mb to 4.50 mb
