Easy to Replace the Nokia N95 Cover
Carol Chen, AKA Cybette, says replacing the Nokia N95 cover is easy. Since this highly anticipated phone will only officially come out in plum or sand, this is great news for those who want something different.
When I tried to take apart my N95, I found that the (back) cover can be easily popped out. This makes it easy to customize and change covers…
Carol already tried replacing the cover for her Nokia N95 but did not have everything she needed. She has been playing with the Nokia N95 and post videos and pictures on her Vox blog with it for a while now… the perks of being a Nokia employee! Make sure to check it out.
So far, there are no retailers selling covers for the Nokia N95, but it is still early and even only a few retailers can get a hold of the phone itself. Darla Mack is the exception because she has the phone already and in her favorite color pink as a gift from Nokia. It will only be a matter of time before we start seeing both the phone and the covers more readily available.
There’s even a video on how to dismantle the WHOLE Nokia N95. If you are more daring, you can watch this guide below.
As always, you can check out the price check page here at the nokia blog or over at fonegrabber to follow the lowest prices on the Nokia N95.

i HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR SOME NEW FASCIAS FOR THE N95 AN NONE AVAILABLE YET BUT A WEBSITES LIKE MOBILE FUN AN FIRST SAVE HAVE THE SILVER FRONT FASCIA AN FIRST SAVE HAVE SOME BLACK BATTERY COVERS AN REAR OF THE FASCIA IN BLACK,SO I WENT ON EBAY AN EMAILED THE SELLERS WHO I BOUGHT A FULL BLACK FASCIA FOR MY N73 AN THEY TOLD ME THEY SHOULD BE AVAILABLE WITHIN 10 DAYS,SILVER AN PLUM TO ME ARE NOT A VERY GOOD MATCH,SILVER AN BLACK WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER
Andrew Burgin on 30 May 2007:
I did not like the silver an plum on my N95 a searched for some fascias an found the L8 website were i bought the Back fascia an Battery cover in Graphite,an i first thought would it be easy to change without damaging my N95,but was truely amazed as the back just Peels off easily an then you see the six screens to change the front part of the fascia, but still want my N95 in Black so i will keep looking everyday for a Black one,or does someone know how to spray the fascia to Black
Andy Burgin on 7 July 2007:
Just recieved an email from http://www.mobile-review.com an they say on the offical Nokia website theres a Black Nokia N95 being shown, its got 8gb of memory an a music edition one,Nokia did the same with the N73 an released the N73Music Edition one, just hope now we are able to buy the original Black Fascia sets as i been buying of Ebay but the materials they are using are so bendy an not stiff like the original Silver one an let light show out on the middle of the phone, lets hope Nokia can let us buy these fascias soon!
ali on 30 July 2007:
ah what is this damn shit mobile i dont like this bastered invention so dont purchase this phone kindly send me only one phone for my use plz send me N95
Andy Burgin on 1 October 2007:
Some Black Fascia sets available off Ebay now with some Black Keypads as well, the Front Buttons aren”t Silver an Black but Fully Black are look alot better i think, the only stumbling Block is woth the inside ones in Black the top half of the keypads as not been made so are in Silver,i tried to find out if there is any chance of changing them but its really difficult as you you have to dismantle the the phone to get at the inside slide an with not being a mobile mechanic or repairer you then see a ribbon thats connect to the other side of the slider,so i bought some Black paint an painted the top half of my inside keypads in Black to match the bottom an then fitted everything back an really happy with what i have done,i have also bought a second slide to help me get them made properly in Black i hope, ihave now ask the seller i buy my fascias off Ebay Joe Weirdox to make the two seperate parts an the slider in Black an he is making them me know, hope the slider on the New N95 will fit onto the N95 without no problems an solve the inside keypads out Black to me is the Best colour for a mobile phone
