Vlog: Can The Nokia N95 Stand on its Own?
I decided to see for myself if the Nokia N95 can stand on its own after watching Carol Chen’s aka Cybette’s video. I didn’t really try doing it before, so I was surprised that my N95 was actually able to stand still on its side and Cybette’s couldn’t. See the video to find out why.
Cybette’s video showing the Nokia N95
I was cringing when I saw her N95 drop on its side and the front with the “thud” sounds. I was more careful with mine, making sure I don’t drop it too fast. My video response is below, which is by the way taken with the Nokia N93.
You can also view my video in DVD-quality or download and view directly on your Nseries phone with the mobile version.
This video was really to practice video-editing, playing with Final Cut. I hope you didn’t think it was too geeky doing this test (but I know that’s already too late!).

I really need to be more gentle with my toys… but hey Nokia devices are built tough and durable =)
Geeky? I think it’s cool! The geekier the better, lol. But that’s just me.

Hey Mark, is that iMovie you use to edit your videos?
Mark Guim on 26 May 2007:
Hey Stefan… LOL I see that you didn’t read the whole post. I used Final Cut Studio; Motion for ending, Soundtrack for sound.

If you open the slider while taking video\pictures this increases the stability and allows it to stand on it’s own properly!
