Sighting: Plenty of Nokias in Live Free or Die Hard Movie
Nokia fanboys who saw the movie, Live Free or Die Hard, knows that a lot of Nokia phones were featured. I saw it yesterday and every time I saw a Nokia device, I shouted it out loud (in my head LOL). Terrorists and Bruce Willis had the Nokia N90. The Apple Guy, Justin Long, had a Nokia E61 and Nokia 9300. The evil hacker had a Nokia 770 tablet. Did I name them all?

I will preview the Nokia Maps 1.0 Update that is going to be publicly available soon. I was already told what to expect in the update, so I tested out the navigation on my Nokia N95 during lunch to see for myself. Take a look at the screenshots to see how it looks.
Pre-Preview: Nokia Maps 1.0 Update
I just got the inside tip from Nokia that an updated version of their mapping software, Nokia Maps, is due to be launched over the next few days, with some really cool updates. I have managed to secure pre-launch access to the software and already started playing with it on my Nokia N95. Before writing about my preview, I’ll share what they told me to expect.
Make Sure to Wear the N95 on Your Face!
At my summer job in the Emergency Room, nobody knows anything about the Nokia Nseries or S60 phones, so I was surprised when I heard one of the physicians say, “Make sure you wear the N95.” I turned around thinking to myself how he found out what phone I had. He was actually talking to another nurse about something else.

Ninong Brown sent a tip that the Nokia N95 appears in Michael Buble’s music video titled, Everything. Good eye, Guian! I only have one thing to tell the director of this video… You don’t need to slide open the the keypad to take pictures or videos on the Nokia N95! Check it out.
The iPhone Ads are Incredible and Makes Me Want to Buy It
Wow… did you see the iPhone ads?! When I first read the specifications of the iPhone, I thought, “Yuck… that’s nothing compared to my Nokia N95.” But after watching the ads, I forgot all about specs, numbers, and features, and actually considered it as my next phone.
