On Vacation, Be Back in 10 Days

In a few hours, I’ll be stepping into my first cruise to the Caribbean. I haven’t packed yet, but I’m really excited. Don’t expect any posts in the next week. I’ll be bringing my Nokia N95 and the Nokia N93i (thank you WOMWorld and Nokia). I’ll upload pictures from my Nokia N95 to Flickr if the WiFi on the ship works as advertised. I’ll have videos edited and uploaded when I get back from the trip.

Vlog: Riding with the Nokia N95

For the third episode of MarkTV, I attached my Nokia N95 to the sunroof and recorded my drive on Grand Central Parkway. It’s been a while since the last episodes, so to reintroduce you to the show, MarkTV shows you what I can do with my Nokia phones. Try doing this with your iPhone… oops, the iPhone can’t even do videos! Check out the blooper at the end.

Review: Nokia Media Transfer Beta for Mac

I’ll be reviewing Nokia Media Transfer for Mac. It lets you transfer pictures, videos, music, and more between your compatible Nokia device and Mac. I’ve been waiting for this software to come out since I started using Apple. I like the fact that now I don’t need to put my phone in Mass Storage mode just to transfer files and also the feature that lets me transfer random music with user-specified storage amount.

Vlog: Playing Global Race on the Nokia N95

I showed off the Global Race game on my Nokia N95 to my co-workers last week and they were surprised to see something like it on a phone. I also brought in the Nokia N93i to catch their reaction and thoughts on video.

Nokia N93i Transformers Edition

A search on Google led to me to discover an interesting press release from Russia Nokia. I wonder why they did not release it Nokia Europe? According to the press release, Nokia N93i Transformers Edition is preloaded with the game “Transformers”, three thematic background images, as well as two exclusive ringing set in the model. In addition, the new Nokia N93i Transformers Edition is packaged in a specially designed box. Read the translated full press release.

Nokia Bluetooth Bus Shelters and Nokia NYC Events

According to Nokia, there are bluetooth enabled bus shelters around New York City where you can download free music every week, or a weekly listing of summer events around town. There’s actually one around where I work that I’ve seen several times, not knowing it sent bluetooth messages. Last night, I walked by and received an image showing a schedule of events.
