According to Nokia, there are bluetooth enabled bus shelters around New York City where you can download free music every week, or a weekly listing of summer events around town. There’s actually one around where I work that I’ve seen several times, not knowing it sent bluetooth messages. Last night, I walked by and received an image showing a schedule of events.

The bluetooth transferred image is on the left. It looks like the next event is going to be on July 12th at Lincoln Center where the top 50 chefs in NYC show off their best dishes. I am definitely going to be there to check it out. I missed out on the Lunch at the Park last week because of work, but you can check out some of their pictures up on Flickr. They’ll have another lunch on the 19th.

The Nokia Nseries team is also taking pictures of people in Times Square with the Nokia N95 and have it displayed on the Nokia Theater Marquee. Pretty cool! If I see them at Times Square, I’ll be advertising my blog on the picture!

Since the ads show the Nokia N95 and the Nokia N800, I know they’ll be showing these devices off at the events. I wonder if they have other Nseries phones there as well. I really want to show the Nokia N76 to my girlfriend so she can compare it to her old Motorola Razr.
