Mac users use this little program: "Coverseverywhere" to be found here: http://code.google.com/p/coverseverywhere/

It will convert any iTunes albumart Mp3 such that the album art is seen by almost any player, including Nokia Symbian phones like the N78 N97 and more.

Just point it at the iTunes music files or directories you want to convert (this could be your whole library!) and it shows up on your Nokia. Ofcourse you have to reload your music to your phone. On Mac's this is easiest done troug Nokia's Multimedia Transfer program. http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/drivers/n...

You must have the album art allready embedded in your Mp3's for this to work.
In iTunes this means copying the albumart from any source and opening the album or track with "Command-I" or right clicking on "Info". Then you paste the art into the illustration window.

This little program is a small gem. Works like a charm!

i tried transfering photos from my mac by dragging it out from iphoto onto the desktop screen, and copied it to my N95, its tellin my the i might have damaged the files after i unplugged and ejected the usb, whats the proper way to tranfer files to my N95 from mac?

Its my experience that artwork from mp3 files is not imported. I only get artwork with m4a files… (AAC decoder)

Addendum to my previous comment, on the Nokia website, on the FAQ page regarding music transfer it said this: “If you add your own album artwork to an album, it is included with the music files when transferred, but only the latest Nokia products will display this artwork. Artwork that is automatically downloaded from the iTunes Store is not transferred.” In retrospect, this was true in my experience…nevertheless, it would be nice for all artwork to be transferred across.

I have just installed NMT beta. It’s quite a slick piece of software but for me the album art was hit and miss. I transfered from iTunes via NMT to my N95 an EP and several individual single tracks from other albums.. All artwork was available on iTunes. The art from the EP and one of the individual tracks had their cover art transferred to the N95, but the rest of the songs did not get their artwork transferred. Let’s hope this is fixed in upcoming upgrades.

This is working great for me except one thing. Neither Multimedia Transfer, nor Nokia Device Browser, not OS X’s bluetooth browser are able to delete files via bluetooth on my microSD card. I have to remove it and delete them manually using a card reader. Any ideas?

Josh make sure you refresh the library on your N75 after every time you transfer music. Nokia should do did automatically for us, but unfortunately that is not the case right now.

Nokia Media Transfer only works for N-Series phones.

Time to upgrade, if you’d like some Mac integration

I use Nokia Media Transfer for some times but still have one problem – I can’t copy sound files in iTunes into N95 folder. No ” ” sign.

Sorry for the random question, but do you know if I can do this with the 6290 smartphone (the model I own)? It seems to be unsupported by the Beta version of NMT, and current versions of iTunes are supposed to transfer files directly, rather than through iSync.

This means I can’t transfer mp3’s etc. through iSync, and also not through iTunes (I use a macbook). I’m kindof stuck. Any ideas?
