Preview: Nokia N81 Initial Thoughts
After watching the Nokia N81 videos, pictures, and reading other people’s impressions from the Nokia Go Play event, I am sharing my initial thoughts on the new device. No, I have not held the N81 or played with it yet. I’ll write a review once I really have it in my hands. In the end, I think it’s perfect for anyone looking to carry a cool phone to show off, but power users like me will probably pass on it. Check out the rest of my opinion.

Video Preview: N-Gage 2.0 Looks Very Promising
According to the New York Times, Nokia is announcing N-Gage 2.0 at the Nokia Go Play event this Thursday. It will become a multiplayer gaming service that will work on its popular phones, most likely the Nseries devices. The new service will let users be able to play games against friends, sample, buy and recommend new games from their phones, and compete in large tournaments. I Have NSyndrome
I think I have Nsyndrome and have pictures to show it. At first I couldn’t explain what I have, but I came across a website that explains it all. I’m relieved that I’m not the only one with this disease… or gift? Nsyndrome is when advanced mobile terminals grow onto the hands of their owners. Evidence of this phenomenon is pouring in from all over the world. Check out how my hands look like.
Guide: Get Ready For August 29th
It looks like August 29th will be a big day for Nokia. We have a mysterious site counting down towards that day, which should relate to the Nokia Go Play event in London. Rumors are flying around that new devices and even new services will be introduced. If you’re a Nokia fanatic like me, you would want to know as much as possible what’s going on that day, especially if there are new phones. I’ll tell you what you can do to be in the know.
Preview: New Multimedia Menu Revealed in the Nokia N95 8GB User Guide
When the black Nokia N95 8GB hit the FCC this week, a sneak preview of the new multimedia appeared in the user guide. I never really paid attention to the multimedia menu in my phones, but the upcoming one seems more usable. I zoomed in on the new multimedia menu and took some guesses what the icons represented.
Connection Between Nokia N81 and Codename Cloverfield?
There’s a cool connection between the Nokia N81 and a mysterious upcoming movie codenamed Cloverfield. You’ve probably heard about the mysterious site for the Nokia N81, 070829.com already. For those who haven’t heard of Cloverfield, it is a monster movie coming out on January, 2008 from the same producer of popular TV show, Lost. How is the movie connected to the Nokia N81?
How To: Tether Your Nokia to a Mac to Access the Net Via Bluetooth
I’ll show you how you can tether or connect your laptop or computer to your Nokia phone for internet connection via bluetooth. This is useful for accessing the internet on your Mac if there are no accessible WiFis in your area. Using these instructions, I was able to write a blog post on a highway during a road trip while connected to my Nokia N95. Thanks to Jonathan Greene for pointing me to the right direction.
Latest Nokia N95 Firmware 12.0.0.14 Now Available in Asia
The latest firmware for Nokia N95 version 12.0.0.14 is available for download now in Asia. In order for you to get this update you have to change your product code to either 0534833 or 0536085. Check the instructions after the jump.
