I was thinking of getting an N93i, I like the look, I like the videocam qualities (flip out screen, optical zoom), and don't feel like i need all the extra bells and whistles of the N95. But I just wanted to make extra specially sure that compatibility with a Mac is good. Downloading footage and editing in FCP is not a problem for you obviously... how about uploading movies to watch on the plane (is there a plane-safe mode?) or transferring songs/photos/contacts/etc. Is there a Mac-friendly application? I looked at some links I found here in NokiaBlog, but they all took me to "dead" corners of the Nokia site. Just wanted to make sure that a) N93i is still the best buy for a filmmaker who wants to have a good phone that is also a good videocamera, and b) that there are no serious drawbacks as far as Mac-compatibility, especially with video editing and video blogging. I was thinking of getting an N93i, I like the look, I like the videocam qualities (flip out screen, optical zoom), and don’t feel like i need all the extra bells and whistles of the N95.
But I just wanted to make extra specially sure that compatibility with a Mac is good. Downloading footage and editing in FCP is not a problem for you obviously… how about uploading movies to watch on the plane (is there a plane-safe mode?) or transferring songs/photos/contacts/etc. Is there a Mac-friendly application?
