Video Preview: N-Gage 2.0 Looks Very Promising
According to the New York Times, Nokia is announcing N-Gage 2.0 at the Nokia Go Play event this Thursday. It will become a multiplayer gaming service that will work on its popular phones, most likely the Nseries devices. The new service will let users be able to play games against friends, sample, buy and recommend new games from their phones, and compete in large tournaments. Check out the videos to see how the new N-Gage service and the Next-Gen games look.
Project Next has been very busy uploading N-Gage 2.0 videos on YouTube to show previews of Next-Gen games. Below are two compilations of the games.
I’m amazed at how these Next-Gen games look so far on the N-Gage 2.0 capable phones. I’ve known for a long time that our phones can handle it, but finding games these beautiful on my phones were not exactly easy. I can’t wait to test this out myself.
Sucks To Be in Europe…
Project Next also reports that the European launch of the N-Gage platform is on December. Combining this information with New York Time’s article that Nokia is announcing N-Gage 2.0 this week results in a possibility that North America will be getting this N-Gage before Europe?! We’ll find out in a few days.
