Nokia is flying me over from New York to Los Angeles next week, September 27th, for a mansion party for being a blogger! I didn’t want to announce this until everything is confirmed, but they sent the plane tickets and hotel confirmation yesterday. I think the party will be related to the announcement of the Nokia N95 8GB, Nokia N81, and the new music service. I can’t wait.

I’m so excited for several reasons…

• Having the company that makes the toys phones I love, pay for my plane and hotel to party in Beverly Hills, is unbelievably HOT! As you can tell, I’m a huge Nokia fanboy.
• It will be my first time in the west coast. They have something that the east coast doesn’t: Jollibees!
• I’ll be meeting some of the bloggers from the sites I visit as well as members from my favorite mobile forums, Howard Forums.
• Last, but definitely not the least, I’ll get to preview the latest phones from Nokia before they come out. I’m really looking forward to try out the Nokia N81, but my eyes will be glued on to the Nokia N95 8GB. What if they even decide to let me keep one? That would be awesome!

Liveblogging

I’m going to take a lot of videos and pictures during the trip and post them up as quickly as possibly. I’ll try liveblogging at the party if possible. You can see how I did it in the past by liveblogging the Nokia Go Play virtual event as well as live photoblogging the Evening with S60 here in New York. Pictures will be uploaded to my Flickr account so you can also keep an eye on it.

I wrote a guide previously how to do live photoblogging by automatically uploading photos with your cameraphone. The guide will be helpful to those who might also be at the event but not really sure how to do it.
