I just came back to using a Nokia handset, got myself an E66 and was a bit disappointed that we can’t switch between “shortcut keys” mode and “access keys” mode. They should have allowed it. Most of the sites like Facebook and Twitter uses access keys extensively.

As another request for the developers, please give us an option to EDIT the current pages URL rather than having to type in a new URL from scratch.

As an example if I visit finance.yahoo.com and then want to go to mail.yahoo.com I should only have to delete “finance” and type in “mail”. When you are using T9 every saved keypress helps.

Look at Opera Mini 4 or IE Mobile if you need examples of how this can be done.

Regarding the .com there should be a “comma separated” setting that we can edit (like .com,.co.uk,.org etc) so that as soon as you type a dot it shows the possible addresses (similar to when you type an address, it shows the addresses from your history). This is already implemented in other browsers and I agree with you it’s a must.

Also, I don’t know if this solution existed before from somewhere else, but I uploaded a light page to my site that can be used to open a new tab (and use more frequently the 5 button)
