The Nokia N81 is spotted in Alicia Key‘s music video of Like You’ll Never See Me Again. It’s in there for a pretty good amount of time… 22 seconds to be exact. I’ve seen several product placements before from Nokia, but I’m surprised at the length of the continuous footage. However, I disagree how the Nokia N81 was marketed in this video.

I disagree with how the Nokia N81 was marketed in the music video. The Nokia N81 is the flagship music and gaming phone. Why was Alicia Keys watching a homemade video on the phone? Are you telling people that it is great for creating and watching videos? The Nokia N95 is the better phone for that. I understand that the Nokia N81 was selected for target viewers who are into music, but the feature that should have been in the video are the music player, the Navi wheel, and the dedicated gaming buttons that work as zoom in and out of pictures in the picture gallery. I described all these features in my first part Nokia N81 review.

Hire Me! If I was the product marketing advisor to the video, I would have suggested Alicia Keys to browse the picture gallery with her boyfriend while rotating Navi wheel then zooming in and out using the buttons on the left. That would’ve made a lot more viewers curious of the Nokia N81.
