The Nokia N95 8GB NAM Is Expected by Mid January

According to my distributor, I’ll be able to get my hands on the Nokia N95 8GB NAM by mid January. When I first heard about a North American Nokia N95 8GB from Devin at the Nokia Guide, I thought it was a mistake. However, another dealer confirmed the Nokia N95 8GB NAM by putting a pre-order online and I contacted my distributor just to make sure. So here we go, another Nokia N95 variant is coming. I will also be selling it at the Nokia blog store so keep a lookout.

Choosing which Nokia N95 variant will be more difficult for the North Americans. Do you want an upgradeable and removable memory card or a slightly bigger screen? An 8GB microSD card now only costs $85 shipped. Decisions… decisions…

Argh! I was pouring over craigslist for the past 3 weeks trying to find the N95-3 version, only to stumble across your blog today for the first time and discover THIS!

It’s true. All these variants and now I’m rethinking what i want and feeling rather confused. I had a particular phone with particular price points in mind. Damned their innovative engineering and clever product obsolence marketers! Damn them!

Do you know if the N95 8GB NAM will work in Australia/Europe 3G networks as well as the US 3G network? I am moving to Australia at then end of the year, but would like to have the 3g capability in the US before I leave.
