@mercedes if you switch your device into landscape mode while on TV-Out, it will then fill up the screen ;) but QVGA resolution is still outputted which makes it look awful, only videos and images are out put via tv-out in VGA resolution.

@rbeldua v21 firmware is avaialble in most nokia service centers.. still not yet available over the nokia software updater for some strange unknown reason..

The N95 is the best phone ever with only niggling problems. For instance, whilst surfing with Tv-out, the screen does not fill out. Even whilst surfing the phone, the list of back pages isn't shown in order. This phone won't be obsolete for many more years to come.
 Miss Mercedes.

yeah it really does suck :( we hope that nokia will release a firmware version with WRT (wen runtime) and FL3 (flashlite3) features on it, not the v21.0.001 firmware that we see on the RDA, but maybe a v22 or what ever, cus the n95-1 definetly still needs an update anyway to fix some minor bugs that still reside.. we just have to wait and see...

screencapture was taken from a remote feed over the internet. I have no idea how it performs in real life. We'll have to wait and see if even nokia implements it for the public release.

It's hardly playing! Its more like an occasional screen shot of the YouTube video. Or is it just a bad YouTube vid? Good technical advance for S60 though. Put that on a Cortex core and we could be seeing impressive results.

Isn't it funny though how one of the most inefficient codec implementations in use today has become a benchmark. Content is still king!
