Moderating My Blog On My Nokia N95
Blogging with mobility is becoming popular. For example, Ricky Cadden uses Maemo Wordpy on his Nokia N810. Norman John uses combination of the Nokia DT-22 Tripod, Nokia SU-8W Keyboard, and Nokia N95 8GB for mobile blogging. I like to keep blogging on my laptop, but I do moderate the Nokia Blog comments through my Nokia N95 phone using a plugin for Wordress.

Moderating comments on my Nokia N95 NAM
I use the Mobile Admin plugin for Wordpress to moderate incoming comments and respond while I am away from the Macbook Pro. Mobile Admin adapts the WordPress admin UI to be more friendly to mobile devices, specifically phones. With Mobile Admin, you can also write posts directly from the Nokia N95 or other phones. I think writing a post on the N95’s keypad will be time-consuming and choose not to do it.
Ewan MacLeod from SMS Text News currently asked a developer to create a Wordpress S60 client. I’ll be closely watching its progress and see how useful it may be for me on the go without the Macbook Pro.

I’ve tried Wavelog, but I’m not hugely impressed at the moment. For one it seems you can only have one blog on there, as well as the fact that you can’t edit old posts, nor delete them.
Mark Guim on 2 February 2008:
I’m not a fan of wavleog either. I don’t like the use of tables.
Matsu on 6 February 2008:
Have you tried Wavelog on any other than N95 phone? I’d like to get E62 or some other S60 phone with the keyboard.
Ron on 15 February 2008:
Well I am fan of Wavelog as it is more user friendly than mobile admin and works off-line. Also it is the only mobile client that allows posting of audio and video to my blog and not going via some third party commercial site.
Jon Donaldson on 11 March 2008:
Has anyone tried uploading video from the n95 using wavelog to their wordpress page. When I tried it, the video turned up in a small quick time movie playing only a small part of the video when It was clicked.
Has anyone else experienced this or is it just my setup of wordpress that is causing it.
Ron on 13 March 2008:
Yes, I have the same result but if you create the link to the uploaded video than it opens up in full size. Apparently it is the way wordpress quicktime player works when embedding videos…

I am trying to get to see some videos from this site to show on my N95 8Gb http://www.scotlandonvideo.com but for some reason I am having trouble. Any Ideas anyone?
