Review: 8GB MicroSDHC Cards Great Buy For Less Than $70
I can’t believe how cheap the 8GB microSDHC cards have become. I just purchased SanDisk 8GB microSDHC card for $67 shipped that was packaged with a nifty USB card reader adapter I can use to insert into my Macbook Pro. The microSDHC card is compatible with my Nokia N95 NAM and Nokia N82.
I remembered the prices originally started at about $120. The current prices at around $70 have made it so affordable that it’s hard to make an excuse not to get one.
Check the Nokia microSDHC compatibility page to see if your Nokia device can handle it. As of publishing this post, the list includes: Nokia E90, Nokia N95, Nokia N82, Nokia N81, Nokia N810, Nokia 6120 classic, and Nokia 5310.
Convenient
On a Macbook Pro, it was annoying that I did not have a built-in card reader. I had to keep looking for the SD adapter to put the microSDHC card in so I can use a card reader. With the Mobilemate Micro Reader that came with the card, I no longer have that problem. The USB reader is attached to my keys, so it will always be with me. It is also so small that it does not add extra space to my pocket. I just take it out of my phone, insert the microSDHC card into the reader and plug the USB into the Macbook Pro.

Faster Transfers
I’ve been comfortable using bluetooth to transfer pictures and files between my laptop and phones, but sometimes it takes longer than I want to. Transfers with the USB reader connected to the laptop are a lot faster.

MicroSDHC in the Future
16GB and 32GB microSDHC cards are planned in the future. This makes compatible devices lke the Nokia N95 and Nokia N82 more expandable compared to devices with limited built in storage like the the Nokia N95 8GB.
Final Thoughts
microSDHC cards are getting cheaper and provide faster file transfers than bluetooth or USB cable. I recommend getting one if you need more videos and songs to fill your phone on the go.
