Nokia N95 NAM Hits Mainstream in the US

In lieu of the new Nokia N96’s release in the near future, it seems that the Nokia N95 has finally been released to the masses. I was browsing my local mall yesterday and happen to come across a very good friend of mine, and it looks like he’s going to be around more. Apparently, Best Buy now carries the Nokia N95 NAM in it’s inventory. Pics after the jump.
It seems a little late, but I’m glad to see that one of the biggest retail chains has finally picked up my beloved Nokia N95. My hope is that we can show the masses what a real smartphone is and to stay away from the stagnant mobiles out there (I’m looking at you Motorola!).
I wonder how long it’ll take them to carry the Nokia N96 once it comes out. My guess, 4 years? lol

funny thing was that when i taking pics, one of the phone dudes came up to me to ask if i was interested in the phone. when he saw that i already had one, he just turned around an walked away, lol

Dell has been pushing the 8gb NAM for the last few weeks. I ordered one 2/2 and am still waiting for it. It’s been on back order for the last few weeks. The new eta is 1st week of March. Good luck to those who’s on the waiting list.

So the dell site says its the 8GB NAM. But the product description says it doesnt work on US 3G? Do you think they just updated the product name in anticipation of its release, but forgot to update the description?

Just spoke with a dell rep, and they couldn’t confirm either way if the N95 8GB they have listed as ‘North American’ is actually the NAM. The specs still show that it is the old european model. However he did say the order is shipped directly from Nokia, and is not available for 4 weeks.

Yea i ordered one of the n95 8GBs from dell last week…. the estimated time of ship is april 1st…and the NAM 8gb should be out then…who knows what ill get :)…but i got it for 540 bucks so either ill be happy with…

Looks like dell removed it from their website. Maybe in anticipation of the new model?
