First Nokia N96 Sample Photos
Here are the first photo samples taken from a Nokia N96 pre-production model at Mobile World Congress. I hope the quality on the final production will be better. I managed to transfer the pictures via bluetooth to my Nokia N95 to bring back home after taking a couple of pictures from the 5 megapixel camera on the Nokia N96. Take a look.
These are resized pictures. Make sure to click on the pictures to see the full-size resolution.
As you can see, the images are bad. Since the photos were taken from a pre-production unit, I’m not that worried. The photos were also taken indoors.
For the photography geeks, take a look at the exif data below. Let me know if you see anything interesting.

The phone was acting up definitely when the PM tried taking these photos, I could see it on the screen of that N96.

Can you upload those pictures to another website because the service of this website is not yet available in my region.
Mark Guim on 20 February 2008:
It is still far from finished. The Nokia N96 is making me want the Nokia 8GB NAM though. I’ll wait for the North American version of the N96.
iRobot on 20 February 2008:
Those pictures are horrible! Nothing compared to my N82. I really hope they fix that problem very quickly.
caliboy99 on 20 February 2008:
Speaking of 8gb NAM, is there any word on when the n95 8gb NAM will hit your shelves Mark ??
Mark Guim on 20 February 2008:
You’ll know as soon as it is available. I will be my first customer for the n95 8gb nam
Fus on 26 February 2008:
How come you want the NAM 8gb version Mark? If space is the issue, wouldn’t it just be better to buy a 8gb (or higher 16gb-32gb+) mini SD card for your NAM N95?
Mark Guim on 28 February 2008:
@Fus I like the bigger screen and it looks better than the Nokia N95 NAM.
