I just cant wait for the nokia 6220 classic to release. But i, am thinking of the sound quality with the headset HS-47, Will it really have a good quality sound? And can we connect WH-600 or HS-16 with adapters to have great quality sounds???

Maybe Nokia wants to make Nseries even more powerful than that?
Samsung promised to introduce 8mp camera phones this year (I guess it will be a brick like G800/G810, or a brick like LG Viewty).

The 6220 Classic has autofocus, Carl Zeiss lens, VGA @30fps, ARM11 369MHz, and 128MB RAM. That is on par or better.
It’s just that 6220c doesn’t have WiFi and 3.5mm jack.

Does it have autofocus and a Carl Zeiss lens? Also , how much on board memory? These things might be a factor especially, since the NSeries are multimedia computers.

very very interesting, it is loaded, but without wi-fi. I also wonder what is the criteria to be “N” series, I would definitely have an interest when this unit appears on the market

@Matthew I think the 6220 is FP2 but I agree it will not be top of the line this year. Also the Nokia N81 and the N76 weren’t top of the line last year neither and but joined the Nseries.

I don’t really care about the naming… just wondering why.

I think its not NSeries because will not be top of the line at time of release. All the newest Nseries phones coming are FP2 which this one does not. I personally like the navigator version, especially having seeing in action with the Nokia Maps PM at MWC, which you were at Mark.

@stefan since it was not an Nseries phone I thought it’d be another boring device. I completely ignored it, hence this post saying I was surprised. 5 megapixels with xenon flash on a non-Nseries? Unusual in my opinion.

Yes, indeed. I think the 6220 will be a good deal. Maybe it’s good not to launch the 6220 as an Nxx .

It’s not an N-Series phone because it doesn’t have the 3.5″ plug in and Nokia said something about having it in every new N-series device.
