S60 started delivering some swag to those who signed up for the S60 Ambassadors program. I received mine in the mail today. Nothing too exciting, but free stuff are always welcome. They sent a T-shirt, lanyard, notepad, mousepad, and pens showing off their “Open to new features” message.

Here’s a brief description of S60 Ambassadors which you can find more about in their event page:

S60 Ambassadors are consumers of S60 software (in other words, people who own an S60-based Nokia, Samsung, LG, or Lenovo phone) who want to know more about S60 and want to spread the word about S60 to their friends, family, and occasionally to strangers in the park.

According to the rules, sending in reports will earn you points. The top 75 scorers earn Nokia BH-900 Bluetooth headsets. Here is a Nokia BH-900 bluetooth headset review by Phone Arena.

I was at their Evening with S60 event in the Nokia New York Flagship last year when they gave out a Nokia N95. I hope there’s a more valuable prize than the bluetooth headset for maybe the top 1-3 ambassadors.
