power generation stations. During World War II the Germans pushed manufacturing out to mom and pop type businesses. Something similar will happen in the future. Communities will get most of their electricity from locally produced power stations such as home-based solar systems or micro-nuclear power plants. Individually, each station will generate far less than 30k of electricity <a href="http://www.geonlineservicesite.com" rel="nofollow">www.geonlineservice.com</a> during a day but in the aggregate, the entire community will generate enough electricity to ensure everyone has what they need. Excess energy will be put back into the grid for either credits or money. Communities in some parts of Europe are already doing this. Small villages around Achen, Germany, have purchased wind turbines and located them on hills. The community payed for the turbines and they then purchase the resulting electricty at a reduced price. Any excess electricity is sold and profits pay for the upkeep of the turbines.

Mark,
I've been using Location Tagger and Sports Tracker on my 6120C (with BT GPS receiver) to document my hikes as well. I upload any photos to Flickr and recently tried to create a Google Map of a recent hike.

Everything worked fine with the Geofeed for the photos, but when I uploaded the KML file for my route, Google Maps broke it up into smaller segments so that the trail doesn't show up as a single path. Here's the link if you want to see what I'm talking about:
http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?hl=en&ie=UTF8&msa=0&msid=100388758605380567063.00044b8f689f42e13f1e8&t=p&z=15

Any thoughts on what I'm doing wrong?

I've uploaded directly to Flickr with my N95 and version 3.0 of the software that send photos directly to flickr from my phone.

I am on flickrs map fine since I used Exif data with GPS locations.

However, when I go to the Geofeed and KML there are none of my photos?

Whats up with that?

@ravindra make sure in flickr settings "Import EXIF location data" says "yes." Did you use Location Tagger or Shozu?

Location Tagger puts the location on the exif data so you can still transfer it to your PC first and be fine transferring to flickr later.

Shozu requires you to upload the photos directly to flickr.

@ravindra Did you tag those pics? go to the tag page and at the bottom there will be a "geofeed." copy that link and import it to your google maps. for example, this is the tag page for the photos on this page. http://www.flickr.com/photos/mackarus/tags/castlerockuniquearea/
