I am using this pone for the past 10 months and now my phone looks really bad on the outside. The paint started to peal off and slowloy the phone looks like a horror face. I have been using NOKIA for past 9 years and never come across such a bad quality of outer cover.

Nir, I don't know how you can say "Nokia has never had a better phone". For business users in most respects the 9500 is a better phone than E90. For people wanting a media phone, E90 is very nice.
There are major shortcomings over 9500. E90 browser is staggeringly slow. Wifi signal is weak. Office apps are a shadow of S80 Office.
Speed of use of E90 is awful compared with 9500 with its joystick, cursor keys, Escape key and dropdown Menus. I can run rings round E90 on my 9500 doing actual work.
I can open edit and shut sheets like lightning. On E90 it is so slow and error prone.
Basic OS functions like File Manager are far better on 9500, more like Windows, and very logical. E90 is illogical, badly laid out, and parts of system, inaccessible.
When E90 has so much more RAM built in, it is amazing that the browser only holds 1 page open at a time, when the less powered 9500 holds up to 12. As a result on E90 every page has to be downloaded again each time you view it. Why create all that extra download traffic and not make use of RAM and cache??? Hardly progress!

If you are a business user wanting a pocket PC with a phone stick to the 9500. If you want a phone with lots of gadgets buy an E90.

@Nir I think randie was talking about 3G compatibility in the US. the size is comparable when the Nokia N95 8GB is open, but big difference when carrying them in my jeans.

Using an E90 for the past 4 months - Nokia has never had a better phone! and I've tried many!

Monster size? Compare it to the N95 with the slider open - that's how you use the N95 - you have to have the slider open. Even compare it to an E65 with the slider open...

I've used a 9210i and a 9300 and this communicator is a giant step forward. Compared to previous communicators the best E90 feature is that ALL applications are available via the external keypad and screen. You can do anything you want without opening the clam shell and then open it only when you want the full qwerty keyboard.

In regard to the previous comment - the E90 not only uses 3G but supports 3.5G, WIFI, BT, IR, ...

Truly a fantastic device!

I’ve used a 9210i and a 9300 and this communicator is a giant step forward. Compared to previous communicators the best E90 feature is that ALL applications are available via the external keypad and screen. You can do anything you want without opening the clam shell and then open it only when you want the full qwerty keyboard.

In regard to the previous comment – the E90 not only uses 3G but supports 3.5G, WIFI, BT, IR, …

Truly a fantastic device!

Using an E90 for the past 4 months - Nokia has never had a better phone! and I've tried many!

Monster size? Compare it to the N95 with the slider open - that's how you use the N95 - you have to have the slider open. Even compare it to an E65 with the slider open...
