Last month i got new gray one and its suprab in style and you know what its looking fresh every time even after one and half months now and feels like very fresh piece that's the main feature of gray metallic finish

i'm getting silver with white keypad. It's more feminine, but it's okay cos i'm a girl. For a guy i'd suggest the dark silver. Believe me they do have them because my brother has one. They're really sleek looking.

Am going to take the black one and i never seen the white and i dont know how it looks, so may people said white is great let me see and compare, right now am sticking with BLACK.

Grey, cause white can be easily stained especially the keypad...

I honestly think the white one is really ugly. I was going to get the grey one until I saw the black one and compared them. The black one is sexy. I'm going to get black.

I just received a white e71 but actually wanted an all silver e71 which I originally thought were one in the same due to pictures being hard to distinguish. Could anyone tell me where they are or were selling the all silver version? Thanks.

I was so keen on getting the black, but the more I see the white, the more I'm loving it. I've seen both in person and they both look great in my opinion. The black looks glossy and the white catches your eye immediately, eg. when someone takes it out of their pocket.
I'm used to having black phones so this time I think I'll go for the classy-looking white one.

I am definitely considering white but the keys apparently turn into a yellowish tinge and also the side flaps. Can anyone confirm this?

i hav been using the white one for almost a yr now..till date the keys hav not turned yellowish..i hav laminated the whole cell..can consider this.

With White Phone You Look More Richer.

I bought the grey one in Thailand. It's an amazing phone - the feature set is unbelievable. I can't even use half of it here in Thailand, but I anticipate getting back to the USA before too long.

The coolest feature?

A built in business card scanner. You take a photo and the text recognition system does a GOOD job of turning the graphic to text and letting you save it as a contact. I really liked this - as it was a bonus, I had no idea I'd be getting that with the phone.

Connection via EDGE in Thailand is amazing... much faster than the connection with my Class 10 EDGE modem on my Motorola Q gsm or my Nokia 3110 Classic - also the Class 10 EDGE modem.

One thing that I see as a fault is the micro-usb which, after a hundred times of connecting to is going to break. I'm sure of it. I am very careful putting the cable in, but still - it's a matter of time before that dies.

Sound is exceptionally loud and clear on this phone.

Battery life is great - 4.5 hours with EDGE running yesterday. It does not charge via USB - which is a negative... The video is changed to mp4 and I've not viewed it on my computer yet, but on the phone's display it's NICE.

Really glad I bought this. Anyone want to buy my Motorola Q?

well, the black one is a safer choice for all purpose. you either like or hate the white. it is pretty controversial to look at actually.

been using the white one since september 2008. the keys are still fine. it's still the same color as it came.

the keys also don't get glossy like other plastics.

it is also pretty hardy

where is the nokia E71 made ? I have just bought one and the colour has a brownish tinge to it ? but the box says its grey steel.....doesnt look grey to me ! I think black one is slightly better. Since white comes with a white pouch so there are chances that it may get dirty soon. Moreover the cables and headphones are white too..

and it is purely up to personal preference.

the white is definately sensationalised in these promo pics.

the real white is alot duller.

the real concern i have with the white one is whether the keys will turn a nasty yellow-ish colour.
and the white also comes with a WHITE leather pouch instead of the black.

anyone who has seen both the colors...white r grey E71 which is best? pl advise ?

yeah, absolutely love it. i don't think it's gay at all now. the white looks really special.

anyway, i'm based in kuala lumpur, Malaysia. The guy did tell me it just arrived when i bought it and he says it's pretty rare too..

I got the White one. had it for a couple of days now.

white:
-like itlooking really clean.
-Like it for being unconventional
-Hate it for being a tad feminine
-keyboard may be more practical in black.

black looks more natural of a phone.
-really professional
-conventional looking

i think i'm keeping the white.
a good change from my black N93.

though black may look better with the keyboard lighted at night.
