Nokia N95 8GB Pictures At Pick-Your-Own Cherries Farm

Take a look at some Nokia N95 8GB photos I took today at Lawrence Farms Orchards for “pick your own” cherries. We saw a little drizzle and some clouds, but the N95 8GB still managed to take great photos.

Lawrence Farms Orchards was about an hour drive from New York City. I missed the cherry season last year so we made sure not to miss it this year. The farm had plenty of trees to pick from. Sheila had to pick a little faster because I was eating more cherries than putting them in the bucket! Nokia N95 8GB vs. Nokia E71 Photos

The Nokia N95 8GB performed really well and the photos look a lot better than the current sample photos from Nokia E71. After looking at some current Nokia E71 sample photos online, I’m concerned about the purple/blue tint. It reminded me of the time I had the original firmware on the Nokia N95-1 taking pictures with blue or purple tint. I’ll explore more on this topic next week when I spend some time with the Nokia E71. Stay tuned.

    I don;t think most mobile cameras work as well as N95 8GB particularly when its cloudy and drizzling. The Farm’s Photos are amazing and why not N95 8GB has got a world-class 5 megapixel camera (2592 x 1944 pixels) with Carl Zeiss optics and autofocus with which one can capture amazing pictures.Cheers!!!

    Mark - a bit off topic, but with all the real time and real life testing you do while carrying around your devices, do you find yourself carrying an extra battery? When I had the N95-1 I had a spare and charger with me @ all times. With my new N95-4, I hardly thing about it now…

    What’s your energy drain like?

    Haha. I was supposed to go cherry picking yesterday but the forecast for the surrounding area here in NJ was thunderstorms :(

    I guess it’s a Filipino thing xD

    Excellent photos from the 8GB as well. What is the maximum photo resolution available?

    @Arturo. I usually plug my phone every night so I have a full battery the next morning. I also plug the battery in while I’m in the car using the navigation. If I don’t have a full charge in the morning, my battery would probably be almost empty by night.

    I take a lot of pictures and access 3g data for email and web browsing throughout the day.

    Mhh mouthwatering,are they tasty cos here in Sri Lanka cherries are not available like that,I mean fresh from the trees.I need few too.
    And its true the N95 8GB is areal performer,I’m also lining up some nature photography taken with mine for oncoming posts.
