The Nokia N96 or Nokia N81 was spotted by Markz over at our forums on the American Boy music video by Estelle featuring Kanye West. I’m confused like Markz which of the two phones are on the video because of the black & white video color. Take a look at the video yourself and tell us what you think it is.
During Day 1, the lady on the phone told me they don’t do repairs at the Flagship stores, but several others suggested I gave the store a call. So for Day 2, I gave the Nokia Flagship NY a call. Their telephone number is (212) 758-1980. The automated telephone system said, dial ’305′ to get in touch with the care center. Nobody picked up the three times I tried, so I pressed ’0′ to ask a sales rep. Continue following my experience with Nokia’s Warranty repair.
For those who don’t know yet, there are faster ways to mark or select multiple images and videos on the Nokia/S60 Gallery. This is really useful for transferring files to your computer through bluetooth, or uploading multiple photos to Flickr and Ovi using the Nokia Share Online application.
Aki Jarvilehto from Nokia told a panel at Develop Mobile 2008 conference that they are looking to expand their Ngage games into other platforms. He said they are looking into “concepts where we use the same assets for Xbox Live Arcade or PlayStation Online.” This is interesting because it could mean that I can play a game on my phone, save my stats, then continue playing on the Xbox when I get home.
I just noticed the down key on the direction pad of the Nokia N95 8GB harder to press. There might be some dust or speckle in there not letting me press down normally. It started bothering me so I decided to call Nokia Warranty for repair. Follow my experience to see how Nokia treats customers asking for warranty repair. Today is Day 1.
I wrote about the Limited Edition Nokia N96 from the Face The task website, and now I get an email from an angry customer thinking the the site is misleading. Rubin Simons is disappointed to find out he will not get as soon as he thought, and even angrier not getting a real estimated date. Take a look at his letters to Nokia and their response.
I went to Botanical Garden in the Bronx with Sheila today and took some macro pictures using the Nokia N95 8GB. I was intimidated by most of the people inside carrying all these giant DSLRs with tripods and lenses that were longer than foot, but you know what… I’m satisfied with the pictures I took and I did not have to carry anything outside my pockets.
Miyaliu from Digi QQ exposes plenty of pictures of the Nokia 5800 Tube, the upcoming touchscreen S60 Nokia phone which we all have seen briefly on the Dark Knight movie. 3.2 inches screen size with 640×360 resolution sounds good to me. Check out the photos and read the specifications.
