Aki Jarvilehto from Nokia told a panel at Develop Mobile 2008 conference that they are looking to expand their Ngage games into other platforms. He said they are looking into “concepts where we use the same assets for Xbox Live Arcade or PlayStation Online.” This is interesting because it could mean that I can play a game on my phone, save my stats, then continue playing on the Xbox when I get home.

Stuart Dredge from PocketGamer was at the conference and have been reporting what’s happening at Develop Mobile. A developer told him however that “Microsoft is cautious when it comes to Xbox Live Arcade games being played in real-time against players on other platforms.”

Since no official announcements have arisen, we should label this as a rumor. Count me interested!
