Nokia 6220 Classic Photos At Cheeburger Cheeburger

We had dinner at Cheeburger Cheeburger last night and I had the Nokia 6220 Classic. The cameraphone features a 5 megapixel camera with xenon flash very similar to Nokia’s cameraphone flagship, the Nokia N82. I expected good photos from the 6220 classic and it delivered.

Note: the embedded flash files below might not be visible in some RSS readers.

The picture quality is pretty good. I learned that taking photos with the flash on near objects actually make the picture darker, so I had to turn the flash off a few times.

The burgers were so good, I should have taken more photos. Luckily, my buddy and Nokia Blog contributor Ninong Brown had his Nokia N95 NAM to take more pictures for comparison, which by the way got uploaded though Shozu while we were eating. I couldn’t do the same because the Nokia 6220 classic does not support US 3G making EDGE transfers too slow. The 6220 Classic also does not have WiFi.

You really are a big foodie and you make people hungry with pics of those delightful burgers and all with your phones!!!!!
Now I will startdoing the same. I will take pics of some really good indian delicacies and post them on Shozu with my n 82. Good food coupled with a good pic by a good camera food will surely have you tempted to come to india!!!!!!!!!
  • The 6620 is good, but not good enough...
compare to N82,i think N82 is better because 6620's price is not much different with N82.
    Nokia,we need wi-fi!
  • Holy crap dude those onion rings look so damn good. Wish we had that place out here in LA.

Any chance you can compare the camera experience to the N82? Not so much photo quality but more of the shutter speed and the camera startup.

With my N82 I can flick open the lens and shoot with seconds. The focus is extremely fast as is the flash.

I'm wondering if this phone will live up to that.

    Thanks Mark.
