Comments on: Not So Busy At London Nokia Flagship Store

I am planning to give my wife a big surprise with tiffany and co as a birthday gift, but I don’t know which one to choose, any ideas? I get this tiffany & co from my grandmother when she passed, but I would like to know if it’s definitely real, how can I do this?

Nokia are good and have got a very good brand name. But reality is that there are many other options for consumers to choose and the mobile market is beccomming very saturated.

it’s obvious that apple store will have more people, but if you read the whole sentence, I also said “there are at least some customers hanging around” compared to the London one.

Hey Mark, I kind of disagree on the comment that you made about the Apple Store having more crowd then the Nokia Store NY.

I mean we both know that the Apple Store sells more products other than the iPhone, I mean I would go to the Apple Cube just to look at their iBooks and have a chance to play with em.

As for the Nokia store..

You can blame it on lack advertising here in the US.

I mean Americans knows Nokia, but they don’t know Nokia’s Advance Multimedia Phones such as the Nseries or the Eseries.

Americans knows only the mid range Nokia phones.

So if I am one does typical Americans, and my wife tells me “Look Its a Nokia Store” All I can I say to my wife is “Don’t bother honey, we have seen their phones just a waste of time”.

Mark i don’t understand the mention of the apple store at all, its almost like saying its iphone vs nokia phone’s where the apple store sells, ipods macs, ibooks, iphones, ipod touch, so of course more traffic and i also agree with neil the nseries devices in the uk can be had for dirt cheap with a provider.

I’ve been at the Nokia Store in London a couple of times, and each occasion its had more staff than customers! A stark contrast to the Apple Store which is directly opposite.

I can only think the reason is that if somebody wants to check out a new mobile here in the UK, they just go to their local network providers store or an independent shop where they can have a play with the handset and then buy it or upgrade (usually for free) on a contract.

Maybe not enough advertising prior to its launch? I know for one, if I were there, i would probably spend a whole day in there lol.
