Nokia N85 Review By Mobile Review

Eldar from Mobile Review wrote a review of the Nokia N85 (translated) already and I am determined to make this my next Nokia phone. He explained that the N85 is not copy of the Nokia N95 with just a few changes. Instead, the Nokia N85 is one of the first devices built on different, newer chipsets.

Highlights from the Nokia N85 Review

  • Build quality is good. The dual slider is firm.
  • One of the best screens on the market today. The screen display is strikingly different from the Nokia N95 8GB. It is brighter also with more saturated colors.
  • The stereo speakers are loud, comparable to the Nokia N82.
  • One of the best 5 megapixel cameraphones, comparable to the other 5 megapixel cameras in the Nseries.

In conclusion, Eldar wrote the Nokia N85 is an ideal replacement for those tired of the Nokia N95. With the price at 450 euros in Europe, you get the most for your money compared to a Nokia N96 or the competitor Samsung INNOV8. He thinks the Nokia N85 will be one of the best phones in the market… until February 2009 when Nokia releases two breakthrough devices! The N85 is expected to ship in October.

    I am sure this phone will become one of the killer phones for Nokia. Good choice Mark. I will probably stay back with my n 82. so many new phones are coming that if i let each one seduce me, i will be bankrupt!!!!!

    I was planning to buy a BEST QUALITY phone in Nokia N Series. I found Nokia N85 in nseries site. I have compared Nokia N85 with atleast 40 different phones from Nokia Nseries, Samsung, Sony, LG etc.,, I found that this is the BEST IN CLASS. It has all features that a phone should have. Most important feature is it has AWESOME Color AM OLED which none of today’s phone have. This is the NEWEST technology called Organic Light Emitting Diode, The colors displayed for more natural and BEST QUALITY you can get in any of today’s phones and this kind of display consumes less power. It has a AWESOME 5 Mega Pixel Camera. 8GB external memory enough to store whatever u want. REALLY AWESOME MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!! A-GPS, Geo-tagging, Global Roaming are also present. The Look of the Phone is Awesome comparable to N96. It gives value for Money. With my extensible analysis, I suggest to Buy this phone.

    i might still go for the N96….just scared about the music quality on N96, the N85 will be insane man if all the new hardware and audio chip news is correct the music must rock!! Mark man when you get you N85 be sure to set the Music quality to test and let us all know!! lolll keep chillin man

    man the n 96 is a good phone but its batt power sucks more then biiig time.contineous music play back will last for just 3-4 hours.if u want a better phone then n 96 leaving the memory aside u should buy nokia n 85

    of course, you are lucky! You get a chance to play around with the device before you make up your mind on buying it.
    So which restaurant is planned to take pics of wonderful food with your test model n 85, mark? ;)

    Always read http://www.mobile-reviews reviews they are top class an always very honest about the goods an bads on any mobile they reiew,i check this website everyday to see whats being released,an on the first i8510 review he even says Nokia is working on there first 8 mega-pixel camera mobile an might be here in November-December time i hope they are right,thats why i did not get the i8510 straight away

    i just bought an N85 last night… compared it to N96 before buying it. ive noticed that the N85 is not that compact compared to N96… or the device that i bought have something wrong? when i slide it to use the keypad, it seems that something is loose on the slide. i asked the store if this is normal he said yes. he even compared it to the displayed N85 and its

    @ bhumi no need to confuse … i bought N95 1 year ago… and its still the best nokia phone around… N85 is a new one.. nokia must have made some changes in it… so wait and and bought the new Nokia N85… i will change mine with N85 as well as soon as i see the good reviews coming…
