Walking With Google Maps Satellite View In Central Park
Last weekend, Sheila and I walked around Central Park with the help of satellite view on Google Maps installed on the Nokia N95 8GB. It helped us find the fountain that you see at the beginning of Friends TV show.

Our favorite place to relax in Central Park is the Bethesda Terrace with the big statue and fountain overlooking the lake.

Google maps satellite view with GPS location.
On our way back, when looking at Google maps, I noticed a round structure nearby. I thought it must be something worth taking a look so we walked towards it. Using the GPS on the Nokia N95 8GB, Google maps showed us our location and the arrow of the direction we were walking towards.

Cherry Hill fountain
We found out that it was the Cherry Hill Fountain which was used as watering trough for horses in the 19th century and then replicated in LA for the Friends TV show intro. Pretty cool!

We asked one of the bikers that do tours around central park. Not a problem… I still have my Nokia.
