Nokia DT-22 Tripod Discontinued – Sunpak Versipod To The Rescue

The Nokia DT-22 Tripod and adapter is now hard to find, but don’t worry because there is a similar product called the Sunpak Verispod. The DT-22 and Versipod allows you to attach your mobile phone to the included mini-tripod as well as larger tripods using standard sockets. You can take clearer pictures using a tripod.

I don’t know why the Nokia DT-22 was discontinued as I think it is very useful. Videobloggers, photographers, or anyone else will come to situations where a tripod is necessary to take a photo or video. What’s also good to know is that you are not limited to one tripod. I use the adapter to connect with the Gorillapod and the Quikpod because of the standard socket.

If you can’t find the DT-22, buy the Sunpak Versipod for about $9 and select from three colors: blue, pink, or silver.

  • I made my own using a 1/4" nut, some plastic, a crystal clear case, and some superglue, thus enabling me to use a normal camera tri-pod ;)
  • very handy! I hope the labor + parts did not go more than $9?
  • Amazon wants $52 to ship this $9 tripod to Canada.
  • wow.. maybe someone sells this on ebay with cheaper shipping there?
