I am having problems with my N85. I have it about 6 months and already it has been back to the factory TWICE. The first time they said it was an electronic fault, the second time an issue with software and “keep it away from a dusty environment”. (I look after my phone and never have it in a dusty environment). The problem is that although fully charged I barely make two or three calls and all of a sudden the battery is low and sometimes even switches off. This is very annoying. Any suggestions anybody?

i thnk SE is the one who is deffective:)
because some of SE's bluetooth is not cmptible to other phones[e.g.nokia,LG,]

This phone is a DUD. Very poor design of the electronics.

After 5 months of normal use my N85 died. I took it back to Nokia “Care” and they said it had “liquid damage” and would not be fixed it. It has never been anywhere near a liquid. The problem is the slider collects dust particles which attracts moisture which corrodes the unprotected electric components. This is why there are so many charging problems reported with the phone.

DO NOT BUY IT !!!!

btw there is no problem with the keys i got it in they r perfect all of them they r better then my old nokia 6680 pretty much n i see no problems with it till now 10 days n best phone i preferred it from the N97 it's more practical

I love everything about this phone but have 2 issues since I’ve owned it. Firstly the loudspeaker quality when listening to music or if you have music as a ringtone, is AWFUL. Zero bass and i mean Z.E.R.O. really tinny and scratchy. Such a shame an awful sound comes out of a lovely looking phone. Also when trying to transfer music from PC to phone, says tracks are already on the device yet they can’t be found anywhere on the phone!!!!! Followed and re-followed the instructions and “help”.

My only issue has to do with the music player. Although it has plenty of memory, I really wish they had put some advanced music features into it….possibly ‘borrowing’ some ideas from the walkman range like trackID and playNow.

Help me out………

I few problems with my n85

1) Whenever, i disconnect my phone from PC, I must restart it to play music player.

2) I dont have any GPRS connectivity wizard in phone.

3) Setting Wizard is not working

4) I dont find any TCP/IP support, whenever I tried to connect wth WIFI.

5) Even light sensor is also not working, so no brightningup the Screen when I am in daylight.

6) Even, You have to illuminate the keypad before you have to any work.

Is anyone here to help me out of these problems????????
