Nokia’s Big Announcement Tomorrow Points to Nseries With Qwerty
Tomorrow, Nokia is announcing a device the internet has no clue about, according to a Nokia exec. This is rather surprising because for every major device announcement from Nokia in the past, the blogosphere already knew 48 hours before the unveiling. I really hope not to be disappointed, but hints point to an Nseries device with some sort of qwerty input.
If you go to to the Nokia World Event page, a section on the side shows three keywords, “Desktop, Laptop. Pocket.” Underneath it shows “Be the first to find out the latest from Nseries in 2009.”
This tells us that the major announcement is an Nseries device. The first thing that comes to my mind when reading the three keywords is an internet tablet like the current Nokia N810. “Desktop. Laptop. Pocket.” An internet tablet sounds like a match because of its qwerty input, computer-like features, and pocketable size.
The keywords don’t scream out “phone” to me right away, but I hope I’m wrong because I rather have a device that can make phone calls too. Want to know what else I want on my next phone including other readers’ wish list? Read this post below,
