Nokia 6210 Navigator Kit Unboxing

Wom World sent me a Nokia 6210 Navigator kit. It’s a really large box, so I took an unboxing video. If that’s not enough, I took some photos as well. Take a look and read some of my quick impressions.

Some quick impressions:

  • There’s no power button.  The red end key takes over this functionality.
  • Feels good in hand. Slide is great, battery cover material is great. Good weight.
  • Great button layout. I don’t think I can hit buttons in error. The d-pad is the best I’ve ever used.
  • Memory card door flew off when I looked to see what is inside. 1GB card included.  This door and the usb door might be the only things fragile about it.
  • Battery cover is hard to get off.  This is a good thing, since it prevents any creak.  Very solid.
  • Flip silent capabilities built in
  • Maps 2.0 is loaded, despite Maps 3.0 on the box.
  • GPS button lights up with a signal lock.

Since the 6210 Navigator has a built in compass, I look forward to getting some use out of it exploring Los Angeles. Stay tuned.
