Last Friday, I joined a few other Nokia fans at the Nokia New York Flagship store to talk about phones and gadgets. We were also lucky enough to get a preview of the Nokia N97. It was a prototype, but we still took a closer look at what could be our next device.

Out of the 10 of us, there were a bunch of Nokia N85’s, N95 8GB’s, E71, and N78. These were some of the topics we talked about,

• Dan came a little late, but we knew where he was by following his sportstracker location live on one of the store’s laptops.
• Nokia N97: To buy or not to buy?
• Palm Pre is pretty cool.
• Twitter vs Jaiku
• S60 apps: T9 Nav and Buddycloud
• Video Streaming

We had dinner at Virgil’s BBQ later that night. The problem I have with these meetups is that I get caught up with conversations that I forget to take more pictures!
