BTSwitch for FP2 Phones Turns On/Off Bluetooth With One Click

Bluetooth can be turned on/off by pressing the * key on some Eseries devices like the Nokia E66 and Nokia E71. Thanks to BTSwitch for FP2, turning on/off Bluetooth is now possible with one press of a button on FP2 devices too. This is good for those who wants to save some battery time or insecure with keeping BT on.

You can download BTSwitch for FP2, but it is unsigned. This is only compatible with S60 3rd Edition FP2 devices.

You will not be able to install it on your phone until you sign it. If you don’t know how, fill out the Open Signed Service form with all capabilities. After completion, you’ll receive a signed version in your email that your phone can install.

After you install it, place a shortcut somewhere on your main screen. Clicking on it just turns bluetooth on or off without opening another screen. It’s that simple!

For me kind of useless, isn't it? Just press "*" for e second and you have the same result (just a built-in feature).
  • @Buddy, that only works for some Eseries phones

One less click seems to make symbian streamline and funner to use, Thanks for the heads up Mark.
  • There's already a version that works on N82 and other fp1 phones:
