yes, the 3g frequecy is really a problem now.
For those using 3G frequency 900/ 2100 MHz, it will not a problem

I bought my 5800 unlocked from http://www.puremobile.com/Nokia/Nokia-5800-Xpre... and I haven't had any problems what so ever. You should really make sure you get the NAM version if your in north america or in a country that uses 850/1900/2100 for calls and 3G serivce.
