PixelPipe On Nokia Share Online Rocks!
If you like uploading your photos and videos online before you even get home, you need to check out Pixelpipe. I’ve talked about Shozu and Mobypictures before, but Pixelpipe really stands out as the winner. Not only does it work with Nokia’s own Share Online, but the also provide a lot of places you can simultaneously upload to. Now there’s no reason for me NOT to upload to Ovi Share.
Nokia E71 Plays Paparazzi & Snaps Palm Pre’s In the Wild
There are currently pictures of Palm Pre’s in the wild circulating around thanks to the Nokia E71. It’s kind of a big deal because Palm was giving the press a hard time getting some alone time with the upcoming phone. Someone who goes by Fluffy Bananachunks found a couple of people with the Pre so he/she used the Nokia E71 to snap their pics.
Download Nokia 5800 Original Themes in Black, Red, or Blue
If you just bought a Nokia 5800, you might have one of the 3 available colors, Red, Black, or Blue. Each came with their own specific colored theme. If you want to see how the other colors look on your Nokia 5800 look no further and download it here.
Know Your Frequencies! Nokia NAM For Me From Now On
I didn’t know that I was missing out on a lot of 3G until I got the Nokia 5800 NAM. I previously had a European Nokia N85 which had tri-band UMTS (900/1900/2100). Living in NYC, I thought I’d be covered by AT&T because they use 850/1900. I was dead wrong.
How to: Send Photos & Videos To FB, Twitter, Flickr, etc Using Share Online with MobyPicture
I like Shozu because of the one-click upload, but some people might like MobyPicture better. Moby is patched into Nokia Share Online so you can upload photos and videos to social media locations like Flickr, Facebook, and Twitter without a third-party app like Shozu running in the background.
How To: Use Google Voice For Voicemail Transcription
I previously talked about using SpinVox to read my voicemails, but since I use a lot of Google’s products anyway, why not try the new Google Voice as well? Its main purpose is one new number will ring all your phones at home, office, etc. However, I don’t want to give my friends a new number and I already carry my Nokia phone everywhere. I just want to use the voicemail-to-text service. I’ll show you how to set it up.
Nokia 5800 Review of Camera – Not That Good
I’ve taken several photos with the Nokia 5800 and it makes me miss my N85 and especially the Nokia N82. The photos from the Nokia 5800 are noticeably worse. Take a look at sample photos I took this past weekend.
How To: Get Certificate To Sign and Install Unsigned S60 Apps
Vlog: Nokia 5800 Review of Share Online
A cool pre-installed app on the Nokia 5800 and many of Nokia’s current phones is Share Online. You need to see how it looks like on a touch-enabled phone, but I’m sure it’ll be better on a phone with a physical keyboard too like the upcoming Nokia N97. Go watch the video!
Review: Gravity – Twitter App For S60
Mobileways released Gravity on Monday and I’ve been using it on the Nokia 5800. One of the most common questions I find on Twitter from people who mention Nokia, is what app to use for Twitter? Look no further because here it is. Gravity is an app you can download and install on your phone, however there are mobile sites accessible through the browser like Dabr that offer the same features. What’s the difference? Gravity looks pretty.
