How would you get the 15/mo plan? I looked for it before I switched to AT&T but couldn't find it.

It is true that the contract restriction is for 181 days only and after that you can cancel it. However, AT&T does not allow you to choose 15$ data plan for this phone because it is branded as smart phone. So, either you have a data plan that costs 30$ per month or no data plan at all :-(.

check out whats interesting, the contract can not be changed for 181 days only. So think about it, u pay only for about 6 months of a data plan @ 30$/month than change it later....or cancel the data plan.

You definitely can't upgrade to FP2, but I wonder which FP is better for this phone. I've never used an e-series phone, but e71 with FP1 (at least from pictures i've seen) seems to have some kind of email integration on the standby screen. Doesn't seem so in FP2. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

The extra $15 a month totals up to $360 which pretty much buys you a new, unlocked E71. And the E71 can be upgraded to FP2 right?
