How To: Find Upcoming Nokia Phones on the FCC Database
Want to be a Nokia blogger and possibly be one of the first to discover upcoming phones? One way of doing that is by checking the FCC database for recently approved Nokia devices expected in the United States. I’ll show you how to find them.

Nokia N97 found on the FCC early May
Steps
Go to the FCC database search accessible by thenokiablog.com/go/fcc/
Enter Nokia as the applicant name, type a desired Grant Date range, then hit search.

On the search results, click on Grant date column to sort the results from most recent to later.

Under Display Exhibit column, take a look at each of the Detail links. Test reports usually hints at some technical specs of the device, while the external photos show… photos.

The Hunt
Finding Nokia devices on the FCC site usually mean they are about to be available in stores within weeks. Be the first to publish this information, and expect a surge of traffic to your site if the big sites like Engadget or Gizmodo decide to link back to you.
