I previously mentioned the camera angle on the Nokia 5800 made objects appear bigger while shooting widescreen video. Since the Nokia N97 also have the option to shoot widescreen nHD video, I was hoping for a wider angle so I won’t have to stand too far from my subjects. Fortunately, Julien Fourgeaud who works with the Nokia team on the N97, reads our blog and kindly sent a comparison photo.

Thanks Julien! As you can see, the Nokia N97 (top) has a wider camera angle than the Nokia 5800 (bottom). You can see more of the flag on the Nokia N97 compared to just seeing part of the flag on the 5800 from the same distance. This will make others who also noticed the narrow angle on the Nokia 5800 like James Whatley, much happier.
