Nokia N97 vs Nokia 5800 Camera Angle Comparison

I previously mentioned the camera angle on the Nokia 5800 made objects appear bigger while shooting widescreen video. Since the Nokia N97 also have the option to shoot widescreen nHD video, I was hoping for a wider angle so I won’t have to stand too far from my subjects. Fortunately, Julien Fourgeaud who works with the Nokia team on the N97, reads our blog and kindly sent a comparison photo.
Thanks Julien! As you can see, the Nokia N97 (top) has a wider camera angle than the Nokia 5800 (bottom). You can see more of the flag on the Nokia N97 compared to just seeing part of the flag on the 5800 from the same distance. This will make others who also noticed the narrow angle on the Nokia 5800 like James Whatley, much happier.

Sweeeeeet just another feature to enjoy. I also pre-ordered a white. Waiting for Mobile OS X 3.0 to come out so I can unlock my iPhone 3G and sell it. Don't know what I'm gonna do with my E71 though.

Problem is that nokia N97 offers nothing special than a slight larger screen (with unfortunately same resolution), a slightly wider angle camera, a keyboard and some storage (most never gonna use that storage anyways).
Nokia is asking a lot for this device, why would any one buy N97?
I m happy with my 5800 XM it offers everything that N97 has at less than half the price!
I even have a micro blue tooth keyboard, just in case if i ever need for typing long articles.

I love the Nokia 5800. A fabulous alternative for the overly hyped iPhone. Camera, Audio Player, Touch screen, Nice resolution. This will be my next phone, definately.

he he he he what about the camera cover problem i have changed two n97's becoze the cover gave big beautiful scratches on my camera lens. what a great design error thanks nokia. 80% people crying why they bought the beep 97.
