I canceled my N97 preorder with Nokiausa. It was a total pain in the a**, over two hours on the phone with them. First they said that they couldn't cancel my preorder. After informed them that I would dispute the charges and They wouldn't get paid. They finally canceled my order. They wouldn't even give me a confirmation email on the cancellation. I would expect this from a fly by night operation not Nokia. What are you afraid of? Your product isn't good enough? I will never buy from Nokiausa.com

If you didn't get the discounted pre-order price, it should be available at other retailers for around $600 once they get their stock.

I read on some other Blogs that Nokia will start shipping the Black N97 Pre Orders soon (may be the next couple of days) ! While the White N97 still not available and no information is available on its arrival date !!!

I spoke with Nokia USA customer Care !!! first the denied that the phone will be released tomorrow and then after speaking with the supervisor, he said the NY Flagship store have different shipment and its different department and we don't know bout the release of the phone !!!! He said for the pre orders, the phone is not available yet !!!!! and after speaking to the manager he said ' We don't have an answer for your question which is why it's been released on the store while the Pre orders is not shipped yet !!!

TOTAL DISSAPOINTMENT, he said if you want you can write a letter and complain officially !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm happy that they are finally going to be available, but what about those of us that preordered? This would royally anger a lot of people if the flagships got the phones and not the people that put money down weeks in advance and were promised phones before anyone else..

I called the NYC flagship store and they will start selling tomorrow 11 AM, I pre ordered the phone 3 week back and didn't get any onfirmation of shippment !!!! I chose overnight shipment !!! Nokia has done it again !!!! Just like the 5800 XM !!!! People will start getting the phone buy tomorrow while the Pr Orders are not shipped yet !!!!
I remember reading the Words' You will be th fist to put your hands on the phone once it reaches your country' !!! very funny !!! It seems I will be the last person to put my hands on the phone as I am stuck with my Pre order and Nokia wont allow me to Cancel it !!!

I am feeling exactly the same way. I tried to cancel and tore the rep on the phone a new one. I am still livid. Screw it. I've waited so long for this phone that Nokia should change their slogan to: Nokia - Yesterday's technology TODAY!
