Nokia N95 vs Nokia N97 Food Photos – LED vs Dual LEDs

It’s been a while since contributor Ninong Brown contributed something to this blog and that had to change. We had lunch at a local Malaysian restaurant and put our Nokia N95 and Nokia N97 to a duel. Which one takes better pictures of food with the flash on? LED vs Dual LEDs?

All the photos below were taken in auto mode, but the flash fired on all photos for both the Nokia N97 and Nokia N95. There was definitely not enough light and flash was necessary.

It’s hard to judge from the photos embedded in this post to see which cameraphone took the better photos – Nokia N97 vs Nokia N95. You have to click through to compare the larger sizes.

It’s really close, but I notice the Nokia N97 took slightly sharper images. Take a look yourself because my eye doctor told me I’m almost legally blind.

I included the the exposure and aperture data for the camera geeks. They’re pretty similar. I understand this isn’t such an objective test, but I rather take photos from real usage than color graphs and line patterns.

Which cameraphone you think took the better photo? Nokia N97 or N95? Ninong Brown says, “The N97 is a good phone, but in my honest opinion it’s as if the N95 took steroids & had a drunken threesome with the 5800 & E71.”
