Prototype Nokia N900 Sample Photos Found on Flickr
Before I head over to Germany in a few hours for Nokia World, I thought you should see some sample photos taken with the Nokia N900 that were discretely uploaded on Flickr. Remember the Flickr search trick? No results for Nokia N900, but plenty show up for prototype model “007 001.” Check it out.
There is Hope For Nokia N900 Variant Using AT&T’s 3G in the US
The Nokia N900 sure looks like the next Nokia device to get, but the announcement leaves current Nokia ‘NAM’ users in the dark. For the past few years in the US, I had to be an AT&T subscriber if I wanted high-end Nokia phones with 3G internet. Nokia produced phone variations labeled ‘NAM’ that worked with AT&T’s high-speed network. The Nokia N900 announced recently will not work with AT&T’s 3G, but there is hope for a forthcoming variation.

Nokia N900 Now Official
The Nokia N900 has finally been given an official announcement on Thursday. Nokia says the device will show where they are going with the Linux-based Maemo and continue to work with the community to push the software forward. We have seen an early preview of the N900 already so it was only a matter of time before Nokia unleashed their announcement.

I’ve showed you an iPhone 3GS vs Nokia N97 photo comparison during daylight, so now it’s time for some evening shots. My wife and I were at South Street Seaport in New York City and I snuck some photos while she wasn’t looking. I didn’t want her to think I was playing with gadgets on our date.
Nokia Money Announced – Send Money With A Text Message or Voice Call
Nokia introduced Nokia Money on Wednesday, which lets anyone with a phone send and receive money with a text message or voice call. You can send money to someone by using their phone number. It will also be possible to pay merchants and bills this way. Nokia will also build a network of Nokia Money agents where consumers can deposit or withdraw cash from their accounts.

Nokia has not officially announced the Nokia N900 yet, but press photos have leaked out. It’s not a big deal, really, because we’ve already read an early review of the N900. OMG it looks pretty…
Nokia N97 SW Update Shows ‘Install Before Phone Software’
Check the SW update on your Nokia N97 for an option that says, “Install Before Phone Software.” The file description instructs users to unmark “Phone Software” before installing, but that is currently not on the list. My guess is that a firmware update will be available soon for the Nokia N97 and this is a prerequisite.
Nokia N97 Mini Preview by Mobile Review
Not to be outshined by the announcement of the Nokia Booklet 3G, Eldar Murtazin published an early preview of the Nokia N97 mini too. It’s practically the same flagship device, but a bit smaller, missing lens cover, altered keyboard layout, and 100 Euros cheaper.
