Nokia Introduces the Booklet 3G
Were you surprised at Nokia’s announcement of the Booklet 3G? The Windows-based netbook features a 10.1-inch HD ready display, 12 hours of battery life, 2 centimeters thin, 1 kg light, integrated A-GPS, front-facing camera,SIM slot, and HDMI port for HD video out. More information will be announced at Nokia World on September 2nd.
Nokia Twist 7705 Coming For Verizon’s Female Customers
BGR got an outline of Verizon Wireless’ upcoming handset release dates, and a Nokia devise made it to the list. The Nokia Twist 7705 is expected this September with an estimated $230 pricetag after subsidies.
Youtube App Updated to 2.2.17 – Centered Videos
Youtube just updated their S60 app to version 2.2.17. I’ve installed it on my Nokia N97 and made a video to show you how it looks. The main difference I noticed from the previous version is that the option bar on the right disappears to play videos in the middle. Unfortunately, there’s still no option for full-screen viewing.
Leaked Photo Showed Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition – Not 5900
Remember the leaked photo we stumbled upon last week with several unannounced Nokia devices including the Nokia N97 mini? We had to remove it from the site, but one of those devices was a Nokia 5800-looking device with a chrome/silver trim. We thought it was the 5900, but now we see it’s really the Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition announced on Friday.

Nokia N900 Preview By Mobile Review
Mobile Review came through with a very early preview of the Nokia N900, an upcoming device running the new Maemo 5 OS. I wrote that Nokia needed a facelift and they responded with the N900. I think this is the freshness that Nokia’s high-end users like me are looking for.
Screenshot From Most Impressive Device in 2009?
Eldar Murtazin from Mobile-Review shows off a screenshot from a device supposedly running Maemo 5 on his personal blog. If that sounds familiar to you, you’ve probably heard of Nokia’s Internet Tablets like the N800 and N810 too. What’s also interesting is that Eldar mentions it will be the most impressive device in 2009.
Video: Nokia N97 v12 Firmware Update Overview
The Nokia N97 v12 firmware update became available on Tuesday so I made a video to show you how the phone now performs. I did not notice any new features, but it seems the Nokia N97 runs faster and is more stable. I show the web browser, Nokia Messaging, Facebook, and the photo gallery. Take a look.
Retailer’s Photo Confirms Nokia N97 Mini and Reveals Other Phones
A retailer uploaded a photo on Flickr that deserves a second look. It is still online, but I shouldn’t reveal the link because they may get in trouble. Photo confirms the Nokia N97 mini which we have seen before, but also reveals other Nokias that are new to me.
