Nokia N86 NAM Now Available in the US

The Nokia N86 NAM has finally hit the US! It’s no longer a preorder on Amazon. It is available for $469. If you live near the Chicago or New York flagship stores, they also have it there for $499 USD plus tax. I know a lot of you have been waiting for this, but is it too late?

    On Sept. 24th, I called NokiaUsa and it was available!!! The NAM version. (they could't sell any other kind anyway) It was $499 and comes with a free bluetooth. I will recieve it on Monday with their three day free shipping, can't wait! But YES, this device is officially available if you call nokiausa.com, and it's the US version.

    The Amazon site also calls this the "international version" which would be the standard version, not NAM.....

    I think it's the NAM version, it says there that it works in the 3G 850/1900/2100 bands.

    And, yes, that's weird... they've begun shipping and now they've set it back to preorder and upped the cost? :O

    I just picked one of these up from buy.com's ebay page for 458 after overnight shipping! They are unfortunately out now. The price with free shipping was 438. Time to possibly retire my super awesome N82 now. It will serve as a wonderful backup.
  • Thanks for the info Mark. I can't find anything about NAM or 1 year warranty on that page. It just looks different from other Nokia NAM device pages. FINALLY this thing is shipping!

    Do me a favor when you see the NAM N86 in the wild, please look under the battery and tell me if it is "Made in Finland" or "Made in China", as I really want to know which gyre the container ship got lost in: the North Atlantic Gyre (aka Bermuda Triangle) or the Eastern Pacific Gyre.
