I have the n97 and i suggest you to wait for n900. N97 is dissapointing to the N series. I preordered the N900 already just waiting for someone to buy my N97. Can't wait to get rid of this phone i really hate the N97 compared to it's competitor like the iPhone 3gs.

Nokia removing BBM from its phones was a terrible, terrible move. I'm sure a lot of people would consider Nokia if BBM was still available.

BB might handle email well but I can't deal with the ancient OS that just never changes. They bring out new handsets all the time but switch it on and it's almost the same as it was in 2003. No. Get a Nokia, spend some money on Profimail and you'll be doing email as well as anything

Perhaps I was doing it wrong w/my bb, but everywhere I looked a delay was normal on a BIS:

it also didn't sync (mark as read both ways).

As for the HTML email on my e71 I can always open the attachment.html in my browser, but I rarely do that.

It sounds like I went from BB to s60 and was happier, and you went the other way. Different stroke:)

I don't think I agree here. Even on BIS you have always on instant push HTML email. Please forgive me if my knowledge of S60 is a little old, but I don't seem to remember having that on the last devices i've owned (e71-2,N85,5800). I like the aesthetic and the accessability of that much better. As for your purple pictures, thats why i always had an N95-4 or N85 handly, heh.

Blackberry email is only good if youre on a bEs, BIS i useless. Messages aren't marked as read both ways, syncing is slow and cannot be forced. I'd take the nokia IMAP mail (as bad as it is) before a BIS.

My complaint with nokia is how they treat their US customers. Give us some updates. I'm STILL taking purple photos with my e71!
