Nokia N900 Video Autofocus

It’s been about 48 hours since I got my loaner pre-production Nokia N900 and I find it really hard to put it down. I’ll try to show you as much as I can so you can preview the mobile computer before your preorder arrives. In this video, you’ll see that the Nokia N900 has an autofocus for photographs AND videos.

You can focus on a subject before recording by pressing the camera button halfway. It will not refocus while recording. This is great for doing macro videos!

**Is it possible to make a phone call (handsfree) and use a web browser via 3G at the same time. An example of a time you may use this is when you are talking to a friend and also trying to organise what movies are on at the cinemas and the times.

Yes that was the first thing I set up when I got the N900. You select Exchange as an account in the email app, then sync with contacts/calendar. I couldn't get it to sync with mail.

1. is there any good navigation software for N900 (garmin / tomtom) ? it seems nokia maps in n900 base on mobile-review's review not so good.
2. is it possible to reply quick sms in potrait mode?

I'd love to see some browser action and some thoughts about how it works. Also some footage of Youtube videos embedded in the browser, BUT with the page done loading. Feels like lots of people simply push the browser to hard and doesn't let it load the page before they start to do things and criticise the browser. Sincerely.

The feature that's going to decide whether or not I purchase the N900 is the usability of the keyboard. The Sidekick has the best landscape keyboard on any phone I've ever used. How do you like the keyboard on this device, and, if you've used one, how does it compare to a Sidekick, or G1, or any other landscape keyboard device?

How is the battery life? It really depends on how long you've been using the radio modem, so, maybe you can also try to monitor the wireless data too (up time and total traffic) in relation to battery consumption.

I would like you to try different video streams over flash like youtube ( full screen aswell), bet365 livestream, http://videos.onsmash.com/ etc. Im in love with this phone but from the small sections of youtube streaming they show on different demos out there its hard to tell if it plays them smooth.
